These vines are coming up all over my garden. They grow very fast and wrap around other plants. The dirt came from a lower part of the yard and I don't remember seeing these vines in that area before.
I live in the Atlanta, GA area.

This weekend at Brown Elementary
(x-posted to gothicgardener & pkbarbiedoll)
Friday night CVC called and asked if I could come out Saturday morning and till under the winter undergrowth at Brown Elementary's outdoor education center. I arrived at 9:30 with mist and light rain still in the air. It wasn't too cold, though, and the ground was actually slightly dusty just below the surface.
First of all we had to spread 14 cubic yards of organic compost in the lower side of the field, which was bare red clay for the most part. ( Several pics & more story below the cutCollapse )

Hey, are any Saskatchewan Goths in this community?
I will be visiting next weekend and would love to check out clubs/stores, etc if you can provide any suggestions!
Thanks in advance!

Is this thing on?
So, if anyone still reads this group, what are you planning to grow this year?

I'm laughing my head off that this kind of a community exists. I was thinking it would have been an idea too wild and scary for a community. I was wrong.
I am Nina, 17 years old and I live in Finland. It's in Northern Europe. I live on the countryside. We have fields and tracktors but no cows anymore. Since the cowshed is empty and I cannot be called a cow either. Even if we have no animals, I have an ever-growing obsession with sheep. So yes I'm highly vain.
My snobby friends from cities are so disgusted everytime they visit me. No streetlamps or such luxury + muddy streets.
Oh yeah and I fetch firewoods every evening.
I have been working with hay too but not much as of late. I'm busy with school. Oh yeah and in 2 years I must move to some snobby city anyway, good or not.
My hobbies are screaming alone in the forests, doing crafts like birdhouses, birdwatching, knitting, washing all the mud off my clothes in spring, skating with my New Rock boots on the icy roads, laying on the roads waiting for cars, listening to goth, industrial, darkwave etc.
Good day at all! Current Mood: creative

Chicks with chickens
Are there any hot goth female farmers who want to talk to me? I need a culture change, so make a difference in a new yorkers life, won't you. I think it'd be a growing experience for us. so when you're not busy manning the tractor or eating hay or whatever, drop me a line.
my email is in my profile, you can email me an AIM name and preferably some picture of you in some un or compromising farm setting so i can really FEEL the hay stinging my face like dew on leaves. Plus if you were doing farmwork all gothed up, that'd be great. Fight the power.

Well... I dont' actualy qualify as a gothic farmer at the moment - but I used to live on a farm and I used to be a goth?! Heh. No, seriously, even though i don't (usually) dress "goth" anymore, i still have the same interests I had back when I was into the scene and all that. I LOVE farms - living in the city sucks. I can't wait to get my arse back onto the old family land and get me some cows and horses - definately horses :) Anyone want to chat my msn is: firstname.lastname@example.org Current Mood: okay
